Alec Barrow joined Osprey Initiative in April 2024 and brings a strong background in mechanical systems and environmental service to his role as Field Tech / Safety Lead. Based out of Montgomery, Alabama, Alec is responsible for the installation, removal, and routine maintenance of litter collection devices, as well as overseeing the organization and upkeep of Osprey’s warehouse and yard operations.
With a foundation in environmental stewardship from his time in the U.S. Coast Guard and recent training in HVACR from Fortis College, Alec is passionate about protecting natural spaces—especially those near water. He enjoys working outdoors, participating in cleanup events across the region, and educating others on the real impact of litter. In his free time, Alec is an avid artist, fisherman, and proud father of two.
