Lauren hails from LaGrange, Kentucky, where her childhood spent playing in the creek behind her parents’ house sparked a lifelong love of the natural world. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies with a minor in History, driven by a passion for understanding the complex relationship between humans and the environment. Lauren’s connection with Osprey Initiative began during college when she worked on a project in the Mill Creek Watershed.
Lauren is now based out of Louisville, where she continues to make an impact in local waterways. When she’s not out in the creeks, Lauren enjoys hiking at Red Mountain and exploring the vibrant city around her.
