Luis Vargas serves as a Field Technician with Osprey, where he supports on-the-ground operations and plays an important role in the success of events and field projects. Originally from Barquisimeto, Venezuela, Luis brings a global perspective to his work.
One of the aspects he values most about working at Osprey is the opportunity to travel, as each trip allows him to experience new places, learn more about the country, and gain a deeper appreciation for its culture through the diverse communities and events Osprey serves. Outside of work, Luis enjoys staying active through running and is committed to personal and professional growth, including learning new languages. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and has a foundational understanding of Italian. As he says, “I know enough to place a coffee order correctly!”
