Litter Free Mardi Gras project removes legacy litter in One Mile Creek

Team Osprey had a great time with our Mobile Baykeeper friends on Earth Day. This portion of the Litter Free Mardi Gras project has created a significant impact in removing decades of legacy litter in the One Mile Creek watershed that drains downtown Mobile, AL!

Together with the Mobile Baykeeper team, we collected and removed 78 bags of litter. Big thanks to Gulf Coast Containers for donating a dumpster!

What We Offer

//

The patented Litter Gitter is a tactical in-stream litter collection device used to intercept floating litter from stormwater runoff. The Osprey team handles all aspects of installing and maintaining these “trash traps” and compiles data on the items caught in them, recycling as much of the litter as possible.
